I am not a fast writer

When I was in high school, I had a conversation with a family member that has always stuck with me. Most of the men in my family a blue-collar workers, specifically working in public safety like fire or nursing. So little me, who wanted to go to school for writing and acting, stuck out like a sore thumb. And for some, based on the conversation I will describe, it didn’t feel logical.
