![]() A Court of Mist and Fury (Book #2 of A Court of Thorns and Roses) By Sarah J. Maas 5 Stars Kindle Edition, 626 pages Published May 3rd 2016 by Bloomsbury USA Childrens Goodreads Review: Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people. Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two. With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights. My Review: Wow, I must say this time around I had a whirlwind of emotions reading this book. It started kinda slow for me, but a hundred pages in I was hooked! I read the last 200 pages yesterday. The thing people have been saying is that it draws you in and you can't put it down. That you have to stay up late and finish it. And I have to admit that happened. I stayed up till 1 or 1;30 the last few days until I finished it. This was a fast paced, addicting, and utterly enthralling book. I almost didn't want to finish the book after the first 100 pages. It made me really mad, I hated what was happening to the characters. I now realize that this was on purpose and am so, so glad that I pushed through and got to the amazing middle and the heart breaking, action packed ending. Okay now I need to do a spoilers section for this one so if you have't read the book I warn you go no further. . . . . . . . . . . ![]() Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Okay! I freaking loved this book. I have heard from so many people that it was such and emotional roller coaster and by God it was! I am not one to cry at books but that ending. That ending though! Okay no we need to start at the beginning. As I said ^^ up there. I HATED the beginning of this book. It took me a month to get though the first part of the book. but then I really got going. I hate Tamlin now. Like who the Hell does he think he is? He is now in my opinion, a useless, weak, backstabbing sack of poop. Rhysand on the other hand. Is amazing. He is broken, just as broken as Feyre is. He doesn't try to force her into anything, she doesn't want to do. He doesn't try to control her, instead he helps her grow and heal and in turn she helps him. I find their love so beautiful. The powers Feyre have are grown and he lets them grow, knowing there is no way that she will be able to control it. Like how he can't control all of his power unless he lets some of it outd in ways. I just found the writing in this book so beautiful. I am not really one to cry at books but that ending defiantly made me tear up. I was until midnight and couldn't decide whether or not to sleep and then finish it or wake up and do it. I decided to stay up and do the reading. I ended up staying to closer to 2 or 3 processing the information. I read the last 50 pages, in less then 20 minutes I was that into it. I cannot wait for A Court of Wings and Ruin. I am so, so excited. What did you think of this one? Let me know on twitter @scripturienting or on Facebook The Scripturient 101 and Follow me on instagram @scripturient101
