While planning out your physical story is a large part of NaNoWriMo, even if it just is as basic as I am writing a fantasy with dragons. One thing that is I could argue is even more important is making sure you have your life planned out. And that may seem silly, BUT I would argue if you have a good gauge about how much you can realistically write per week, you can alleviate a lot of personal stress. For example, I know that a lot of people give out the tip to bang out as much as you can in the first week of NaNo and to try to get ahead of your word count to build a cushin. BUT I know for me personally this year, that is NOT going to happen as I will be going into the final week before a show I am directing opens. So for me, the first roughly 11 days are going to be hard. In that case I will be adjusting my daily word goal in an attempt to make up for that difference later. I know for me personally I can crank out between 700-1000 words in an hour, so knowing what is going on those days helps. Below is a calendar, with places to fill in your daily and weekly word goals, and a place to note things you have going on during the month.
